I create paintings based on images evoked by words, following these fundamental rules:

1. I cut up texts written by third parties.

2. I reconstruct the texts myself.

3. Using only the reconstructed text as a reference, I create the painting.

I cut up words from materials around me—such as the instruction manual for the fan I use at home or the piano lesson books I used as a child—and paint images based on the reconstructed sentences.

私は言葉から連想されるイメージをもとに絵画を制作しており、原則として、以下の項目をルールとしている。

(1)第三者によって書かれた文章を切り刻む。
(2)制作者が(1)の文章を再構成する。
(3)(2)の文章のみを手がかりに、絵画を制作する。

自宅で使用している扇風機の説明書や幼少期に使用していたピアノの教本など身の回りにある言葉を切り刻み、再構成した文章を絵画化している。
